What is a Mental Health Emergency?
If any of the conditions mentioned below describes your situation, get immediate help. E-mail is insufficient for emergencies. 
     - If you experience a life threatening situation and/or are being abused.
     - If you have thoughts of hurting or killing yourself or another.
     - If you have a recent history of suicidal, violent or abusive behavior.
     - If you hold what others may consider unrealistic beliefs (delusions).
     - If you see or hear things that others don't (hallucinations).
     - If you are currently addicted to, and/or abusing alcohol or drugs.

EMERGENCY INSTRUCTIONS:
Find Help:
     - If you are a current client please contact Dr. Welsh or the on-call clinician at 785-776-4105.
An answering service will answer the phone 24/7 and contact a clinician.
     - Or go to the local emergency room at the hospital.
     - Call 911 and asking for immediate help.
     - Call a hot line service, such as 1-800-SUICIDE for assistance and referral instructions.
